Super work of Gun craftsmanship. I have one over 15 years old and it is revered. It is accurate with everything. It is relatively easy to shoot. And it is tough as nails. I do exhort wheelgunners

This is one of the best guns I've ever owned. I put Sambar Stag grips on it and it shoots great. Very accurate. This will be my deer gun this year. Thanks Ruger!

Try one of the loads listed in the Spear reloading manual. I shoot 23.5 grains 296 with a 260 grain bullet. It was from the Spear #9 manual of around 1976. I've had the round checked at 1396 fps consistently.

Great SA Gun! 357 and 38spl. 38 is real easy to shoot, and the 357 is not too much recoil, I assume due to weight. Fun to shoot. Wel made, like they say on Shooting gallery the hammer cocks like a

This is without a doubt my favorite pistol of all time. I bought my first one in 1974 and had to sell it when I was down on my luck. The second in 1979 and had to sell it due to massive child support

My Black Hawk 357 took about two weeks to convert to the new style. I installed a Hogue grip, and took it to the range. After 50 rounds, the gun was getting very close patterns and tearing up the target.

I bought one of the "Old model" Blackhawks last week, and have sent it to Ruger for the "Update." It is .357 caliber, and I was reading on this forum that some guys use other ammo in addition to the .357. Would someone please let me know for sure. Thanks and happy shooting.

5 1/2 " 44. mag. Great gun, love it! Full house loads feel like a .357 from a DA because of the muzzle flip and roll. Very accurate, my new woods buddy!

Idahoan, Go pick up a set of Houge rubber gips, you will never look back. They run about 15 bucks here in WI. I put 'em on a Super Blackhawk, a blackhawk, and a single six. Love 'em.

I just bought a Super Blackhawk 44, the grips are kind of worn and faded, does anyone know if the grips are the same on all of the blackhawks, mine was made in 1982.
