I bought 2'' Pathfinder .22LR as my first gun, basically for practicing purposes, with possibility to use it as CCW. It's a nice small snubbie, little too heavy for size and caliber, but easy and cheap to shoot, with little recoil. The accuracy is decent, the reliability is excellent. I put some 1000 rounds of all kinds and colors of .22LR ammo through it, had not a single hickup. Tried 4'' adjustable sight version yesterday, had the same results as with my 2'' fixed. This gun led me to the gun I bought later, and I am absolutely in love with - LCR, but I'm not gonna get rid of my Pathfinder.

Glad to see positive reviews on the Pathfinder, ss. I was very disappointed with mine and it must have been a lemon off the production line. Purchased one back in the 70's which had top quality workmanship and in comparison with the current product, the difference is too obvious to ignore.

I purchased a 4" Pathfinder in Stainless and put a couple of boxes of .22 Aquila hi velocity through it.The trigger smoothed out after a while and was acceptable.A nice gun at a fair price.I am awaiting the appearance of a Charter Arms .45ACP revolver in 4" supposedly comming after the intro of a .45 in 2". Good company and made in the USA.... more »« less

I bought a 22 Pathfinder as a practice gun for my Bulldog 44. Fitted it with the same style Eagle grips. It makes for perfect practice, at a reasonable cost for ammo. $2.oo per 100 as apposed to$35.00 per 100 of the 44s.
